The Straits Times is reporting that Li Xiao Meng, a 16-year-old from China who was studying at Singapore's Hua Business School, was jumping around on his bed imitating a rock guitarist when he got a little over excited, bounced a little too hard, and a little too far and went right out of his dorm room the window plunging several stories to his death.
I guess we just got our answer. Many of us wondered, what would be Karma’s response to being snubbed in this years All-Star balloting? Not being elected a starter for the first time since this site started, we figured he would respond somehow. I guess we got our answer.
Not only did he kill this kid but he gave him Lou while he was at it. We haven’t seen that kinda play from karma in some time.
Ruling “death by misadventure”, the Chinese court said evidence "points to the deceased unintentionally falling out of the window to his death when he was hyped up with exhilaration, jumping up and down on the bed placed against an open window while mimicking a rock guitarist.""
Apparently the windows at this place are normally locked but the students sometimes pry them open so that they can smoke.
Smoking is not allowed at the school.
For those of you that feel that tossing a kid out of a window is a little extreme for breaking this school’s no smoking rule, you can’t be that shortsighted.
Only Karma knows why he tossed this guy out of the window to his death, just like only Marsellus Wallace knows why he had Tony Rocky Horror out of that window.
We can speculate all day and night until our heads hurt for thinking about it, but what good will it do us?
The fact of the matter is, if you follow the rule of Karma, everything happens for a reason and everyone gets what they deserve, whether it is apparent to you or not.
There is no chance involved. You don’t accidentally find yourself a victim of mistaken identity and wind up in a jail cell with a serial rapist.
There is no such thing as bad luck.
If you were in the World Trade Center on the morning of September 11, 2001 you were exactly where you were supposed to be.
Unlike in Christianity where followers often struggle with why bad things sometimes happen to good people, Karma doesn’t have that philosophical problem.
People always get what is coming to them, whether it is in this life, the next or even the next. In life after life as you often switch genders, races, nationalities, sexual preferences and sometimes even species, karma can always catch your sent.
"Just as a man discards worn out clothes and puts on new clothes, the soul discards worn out bodies and wears new ones."
The only thing longer than karma’s reach is his memory.
Now if you will excuse me I have some puppies to adopt.
